Specialized Veterans Trauma

The Specialized Veterans Trauma program is designed to address your physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs as you navigate the journey to recovery. We believe in treating the whole person--mind, body, & soul. We provide a combination of psychotherapy and recreational activities to propel you toward recovery.

WHAT WE OFFER AND HOW IT BENEFITS YOU:

• Morning PHP ( Monday-Saturday 9 am-2 pm)
• Evening IOP  (Monday-Saturday  5 pm-8 pm)
• Individual Therapy- provides a safe and confidential space to work through complex issues and offer solution- focused approaches that are unique to each patient's needs
• Group Therapy-creates a sense of connection among peers and provide opportunities to learn vicariously through other's experiences while enhancing interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Acudetox-supports detoxification and reduces stress by combining acupuncture with specialized ear points to balance energy and calm the nervous system
• Spravato (for treatment-resistant depression)- A nasal treatment approach for depression and reduction of suicidality 
• Neuro-feedback-Intellectual abilities and emotional resources can be considerably enhanced with neurofeedback training
• GeneSight-The GeneSight Psychotropic test is a genetic test that shows providers how genes may affect medication outcomes. The test guides providers decision to ensure accuracy and efficacy of medications.
• Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)-an evidenced-based, fast-acting treatment that works through a unique mechanism of action for patients with major depressive disorders who have not responded to traditional oral anti-depressant medications 
• Art & Music Therapy-exposure to visual art and participation in creative activities create positive brain changes
• Sound Therapy- promotes relaxation and emotional balance by using sound frequencies to harmonize the body body and spirit
• Trauma Yoga-Manage and reduces traumatic experiences through mindful movement and breath work
• Dance Movement Therapy (DMT)-promotes emotional and psychological healing by using movement to express and process repressed feelings that improves mood and reduces stress
• Equine Therapy (in partnership with Southern Reigns)-Leverages the unique bond between human and horses to support emotional and psychological healing
