Meredith has been working in the field of mental health as a clinician for 9 years.  She believes strongly that, while we are all unique and complex, humans have three characteristics in common: first, all of us, adults as well as children, crave connection both within ourselves and with others. Second, we all have a need to feel seen and heard and understood.  Lastly, we all desire to experience joy and lightheartedness, and because of that,  she believes in laughter as medicine in both her  professional and personal life.

While using a client-centered and integrated approach, she will help you discover ways to cope that don’t feel overwhelming or insurmountable.  She has worked extensively with adolescents and adults with mood disorders, substance use issues, challenges with life adjustments, relationship issues, self-esteem, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression and neurodivergence, and those who identify as LGBTQIA+.

Her greatest strength is the ability to connect with others and build a strong therapeutic rapport.   She will accept you as you are, and she will always encourage you to share the parts of yourself previously left feeling shame and guilt.  She very much looks forward to getting to know you and working toward your self-empowerment.
