We believe the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It is this framework in which we draw from to facilitate healthy exchange and improved interaction within the family system. Often times, in mental health and substance abuse related situations, family members endure copious amounts of emotional distress, mistrust , anger and helplessness. Family therapy is often the first step towards healing. We are passionate about restoring and rebuilding healthy families through the integration of several therapeutic techniques with emphasis on the relationship among behaviors, cognition , affect and environment input. Approaches may include functional family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodrama, strategic family therapy, integrative couples therapy and emotionally focused therapy. We pride ourselves on teaching evidenced-based coping skills that challenge negative and distorted thought processes and beliefs that contribute to ongoing family dysfunction. We belief restoration is possible for any family system that is one hundred percent comitted to the change process and willing to be uncomfortable to ensure long lasting and positive change.

We take a comprehensive approach to addiction and mental health treatment. Medication is only one possible component that can support a patient's emotional, behavioral and physical wellbeing. Medications are used as clinically appropriate to ease symptoms and support overall healing and recovery. We believe medication alone will not produce long-term positive outcomes however paired with consistent therapy interventions, patients have the best possible chance of achieving and sustaining long-term change. All patients receiving medication are encouraged to participate in genetic testing to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of prescribed medications.Grief and Loss Support Group
